The play is a tragedy that tells a story that deals with several themes such as revenge, death, humor, falsehood and insecurity, making us realize how vengeful, false and insecure a person can be when something he or she has been deprived of something he or she longed for has been taken away. The way in which it is written and details every part of its settings and characters makes the play Hamlet can undoubtedly be considered one of the best plays written by William Shakespeare, and his legacy still stands.

Throughout the play, Hamlet is torn between indecision and action, questioning his own existence and the morality of revenge.

One of the highlights of "Hamlet" is the psychological complexity of its protagonist. Hamlet is a character tormented by doubt, melancholy and confusion. His famous phrase "To be or not to be" reflects his inner struggle between life and death, between duty and desire.

In addition, the play is full of intrigue, deception and betrayal that keep the viewer on edge. The secondary characters, such as Ophelia, Horatio and Laertes, also play important roles in the development of the plot and in Hamlet's character development.

In summary, "Hamlet" is a masterpiece that has endured over time for its philosophical depth, psychological complexity and literary richness. It is a work that invites reflection on universal themes such as life, death, power and morality.

Hamlet, as a protagonist, is a complex character. For his indecision, his internal struggle, his intelligence and his melancholy make him an intriguing and constantly developing character throughout the play. His relationship with his mother, Gertrudis, and his uncle Claudio add to the family tensions that influence his actions and thoughts.

Claudio, the villain of the story, is a cunning and manipulative character who represents uncontrolled ambition and betrayal. His role in the death of King Hamlet and his subsequent marriage to Gertrude triggers much of the plot and shows the darker side of human nature.

Another important figure is Ophelia, who through her personal tragedy reflects the devastating effects of madness and manipulation on a vulnerable mind. The relationship between Ophelia and Hamlet also adds a small romantic tragic layer to the story.

Secondary characters such as Horatio, Polonius, Laertes and the specter of King Hamlet also play key roles in the development of the plot and in the investigation of themes such as loyalty, honor and revenge.

.

Hamlet is a tragedy of revenge. The spirit of his father asks the young prince of Denmark to avenge the murder his own brother perpetrated against him. However, in Shakespeare's play, the realization of revenge does not stand out; rather, the hero's inner conflict takes precedence. Hamlet is shown as an intellectual indecisive who permanently questions himself and reality and is therefore unable to act. In some situations he proceeds freely and even unscrupulously: Hamlet is a contradictory and complex character. He is a melancholic who doubts reality, whose heartbreak he brings to the point with jokes, eloquence and wit and counterposes his adversaries with feigned (or real?) madness, masquerades and double entendre. All this makes him one of the most fascinating and interpreted characters in world literature. The play that bears his name is, despite its long duration, one of the most important and inspiring tragedies of all time.
